About Laura Winter, MD

Dr. Winter did her undergraduate work in Economics at the University of Tulsa (BA ‘91) and her legal training at the John Rogers College of Law at the University of Tulsa (JD ‘96). Her early career was with AT&T doing regulatory work. In 2000 she left the corporate world to open a solo practice in Austin, Texas where she specialized in Child and Family Law with a particular interest in Father’s Rights. She attended medical school at the Paul L Foster School of Medicine at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center (MD ‘13) in El Paso, TX. Her internship was completed at The University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. She completed her residency at The University of Texas Health Northeast in Tyler, TX. She also completed a Master’s in Environmental Science at Steven F Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX (MS ‘18). She is board certified in Occupational Medicine and MOC compliant. She is licensed to practice medicine in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, and Hawaii. She is licensed to practice law in Oklahoma and Texas. She is available on a pro hac vice basis in other jurisdictions for the deposition, direct, and cross examination of experts.
